Serial TFT Display

Essentially, this is a serial TFT display that works with any serial TTL connection, but this product is much more than that.

Control a TFT display using the onboard Arduino based ATmega328 serial TTL.
Using the 26-way header on the board, it plugs directly into a Raspberry Pi computer and connects to the RPi's 0V, 5V, and TX pins. (26-way female is not provided with the monitor and must be purchased separately)
Can also be used as a standalone Arduino board with built-in TFT screen and Micro-SD slot
The display is a 160x128 pixel TFT color display with 18-bit color, a micro SD card slot for reading/writing data and images, and an Arduino UNO ATmega328 chipset on the back of the board to control it. In addition to displaying text, the Serial Graphics TFT allows you to draw lines, circles and boxes, change foreground and background colors and display bitmap images from the SD card slot.

The only connections required to control all functions of the display are the ground, 5V and RX input wires.

There are 2 serial connections on the board.

One has matching pinouts for direct connection to the Sparkfun FTDI Basic Breakout Board for programming, or for serial connection to any microcontroller.
The other is a 26-pin Raspberry Pi header. This allows the unit to be plugged directly into the Raspberry Pi and connected to the 0V, 5V and TX pins on the Raspberry Pi computer.
